The name Sinawal is from the name of the barangay where the owner grew up. Sinawal is one of the 26 barangays in General Santos City, Philippines, where the B’laan tribe lives. Sinawal is a B’laan term that means “simplicity, humility, and the happy-go-lucky life of a young boy.”
